Sometimes I felt like
No one would support me,
Like I'd never be able to make
My dream into my reality.

And sometimes all I needed,
Was someone to say they cared,
And I only started realising I was lonely,
When I cried and no one was there.

And sometimes all I wanted,
Was a dad that wouldn't leave,
And a mum who wasn't drunk,
Just someone to believe.

And sometimes all I craved for
Was attention from my friends,
So I wouldn't feel like I was failing,
So I would be able to turn around at that dead end.

And I never got any of this;
I just got friends who were never there,
Teachers who put me down,
And parents who never really cared.

I suppose I can blame all this,
On why my life turned out shit,
But they keep telling it's up to me,
To make my dreams into a reality.

    This poem is amazingg.
    i can relate to it like no other.
    my dad left my mom when she was pregnant.
    and recently got kicked out
    [but i'm back, blahh.]
    because my mom was piss ass drunk..
    but this poem is the extremely good.
