Lone wolf

Feel all alone and yet I’m surrounded
I feel deafened but there is noise all around
This lone wolf is no more
Or well so it feels
Oh how I wish for someone
How I wish to feel the warmth of their arms
How I wish not to be alone
This lone wolf is more alone
Than ever before
Yet it has more friends than it could ever ask for
But no one really talks to the lone wolf
No... Never does anyone talk
So it sits on its own howling at the moon
No others come to join
The cold winter nights
Leave it feeling bare
And the long summer days
Leave it restless and nothing to do
Oh how I wish to be a lone no more
How I wish to feel the warmth of another
But I know...
I know being a lone wolf
I probably never will...
