Lil girl in the corner

by chickadee   Dec 30, 2007

Lil girl in the corner
quiet and still
keeps to herself
her life never reveled

never talks
does not speak her name
never shows emotion
blank face, eyes filled with shame

no marks on her body
but a scare in her soul
the things her daddy does to her
are out of her control

no friends to talk to
no siblings to help
her mother left
and this is the hand she got delt

Though very sad, the emotion screams out in this poem, I really enjoyed reading it, good use of words and really nicely written.
