When You Wake

by Darling   Dec 30, 2007

Baby, before I close my eyes,
I'll appreciate you just little bit more.
You're gorgeous and I cannot lie,
I turn off the light, close the door.

Feel your breath gently near my face,
Feel your arms around me.
The last time I have some fun and chase,
A little kiss from you, one reserved just for me.

Soon you're fast asleep,
Without a worry or a care.
Tomorrow please don't weep,
When you wake and I'm not there.

It's very sad.. and you actually surprised me with this poem. Whenever I read the title, I expected a totally different poem than the the one you actually wrote. It was still wonderful nontheless and the flow was very smooth. Great job! 5/5 <3 <3 <3
