So I did, without putting up a fight
And, yeah, I can say now, you were right
This is a great way to let all of my feelings out
So now I don't have to cry, scream and shout
There's nothing more, nothing left to pout about
I've told my notebook everything that was on my mind
No more hiding the fact that it's impossible to be kind
No more trying to pretend that I'm fine
I wrote it all down, and told all of you
I can stop being so upset, so blue
It can now go back to being just a hue
So I give thanks to you, for this gracious suggestion
Now, I am to focus on making a good impression
On all those who didn't believe in my depression.
