What You Dream

by brie kelly wise   Dec 31, 2007

I'm just a speck in your imaginary life
And when your head hits the pillow
My face and your head say goodbye
We will meet when morning hits
And reality takes over the irreplacable sky
It comes over us like rain on a summer day
The raindrops take over the place we claim and lie
We weren't prepared for we were drenched in fear
Why should I feel sheltered for you can't hear my cry
So I am taking your photographic memory
And I'm making it all mine
