Left In Arizona

by brie kelly wise   Dec 31, 2007

Baby, I'm so tired of
The streetlights and the wind chimes
Baby, I wanna get out of
Suburbia and it's breath taking charm
So I'm packing my bags, wish me luck
As I escape down south on the back of his truck

I don't know where I'm going
But it better be far
I'm through with mom and her pointless care
I'm through with dad and his Corona
I was never really there
Because my heart was in Arizona

By now I know
The countryside and it's artwork beauty
By now I know
The heat of Arizona will dry up every tear
