Will Always Succeed

I wrote this poem for my Philosophy of Education Project and I would really appreciated if you read the poem then vote and comment.... Thanks :)

To be a successful teacher
There are things I believe
And if you follow these rules
I believe you will succeed

A teacher who can love students
Not for what they do
A teacher who can offer dreams
Maybe only to a few

To know students have strengths
And should build upon that
To have fun teaching
To not make it boring or flat

To assure students
That they have a voice
To help them develop
And to give them a choice

To believe in your students
Even though it seems to hard
Someone who believes
Their students will go far

Help students find out why
We teach what we teach
And take the time to listen
Their hearts you want to reach

Let students share
To learn from each other
Let them see their are differences
So they can build from one another

Let them take theirs skills
And use it out of the classroom walls
Let them see they make a difference
That they are not so small

Someone who can encourage them
And tell them you can
Someone who is a friend
That helps shape their plans

Someone who is understanding
And is always there
Someone they can trust
And feel like they care

Someone who touches lives
And improves it for a day
Someone whose a role-model
And looked up to everyday

I believe that inside your classroom
You'll find minds to feed
Because you are a great teacher and friend
That will always succeed
