Assertive

by Rebecca   Jan 1, 2008

"I cannot die," he tells himself
Your words he denies as an envious lie.
He is his own, he doesn't need your help
His hate and pain live together, a tie.

He doesn't need anyone, but himself
He is ignorant, self-confident and firm.
A lie he has lived his whole pathetic life
He digs himself deep like a useless worm.

He pushes his greed onto everyone
Nothing can take back what he's done.
One way or another, he will get you
If I were you, I'd run from him, too.
