The Truth

by CryingBird   Jan 2, 2008

Dare I speak the truth
despite its uninspiring normalcy?
a melancholy heart broken
by nothing spectacular
for reasons embarrasing
a small goodbye
from scattered souls
on their way back
to their homes

Dare I speak the words
regardless of how they make me look?
devoid of admiration or style
in hurt or in humour
a broken attractive soul like some
or just a broken one like mine
with ridiculous reasons
foolish undertones
so silly and out of touch
that nobody cares
