In Time We'll Be Known

by brie kelly wise   Jan 2, 2008

How you remind me of
The nights we talked on the telephone
You promised me we'd never be left alone
Even after college, if we don't come back home
I'm too scared to let go after together, we've been sewn
So I'll capture everything into photos of our own
So in time, we'll all still be known

It's like a memory is all we have
Since we'll never be able to re-feel
The pain of slaving over a mirror to capture appeal
The way we promised our cosmopolitan lives were ideal
The way our grief added to our lives like a prayer added to a prayer wheel
The lack of reality in our lives was unreal
So now we pay for the world as we see it has revealed
