You hurt me the most

My blood begins to boil
tears start to fill my eyes
just how many times
have you told me lies

i gave to you my battered heart
the one you promised you you could heal
i cant believe i fell for you
it all seems so surreal

you played upon my weaknesses
roped me in with pretty lies
you led me to believe you were different
not like those other guys

you made me feel so special
like a princess in a fairy tale
the story book ends however
with this princess trapped in hell

foolishly i fell in love
let you sweep me off my feet
but no i find myself alone
trying not to weep

i locked up my heart real tight
no one else could get close
only you my love
and you hurt me the most
