8 Years Later

Everyday I think about you
Never does it fail
But tomorrow will be hard
As I have to lean against the rail

Your strawberry blond hair
Cascaded in light curls down your back
While your beautiful hazel eyes
Would keep me on the right track

I miss your smile
So comforting and warm
I miss the laugh
You would always form

I will hold on tight
To everything I can
Because once in the wrong direction
Had I ran

Take my hand in yours
Lead me down the right track
Guide me towards the future
Be the mother I sadly lack

Find away to tell me your stories
Stay up late one night
Mother and daughter together
Because none of this is right

You should be here real and true
So I can here your voice
But you decided to really hurt me
When you made that damn choice

I think this one was great, I wasnt a fan of the flow, but thats just a personal opinion. I love that the emotions where really strong and expressed so beautifully with words.
