There once was a boy who liked this girl
Boy met girl
Boy likes girl
It was a typical story you see
But he did not know what to say

So he waited
He wonders will it pay off
Boy wonders about what may happen
Sitting and just asking himself
Will she ever fall for a guy like me?

Boy listens to his brain and did it the smart way
He spent some time to get to know her
He finds out how cool she is
How funny she can be
How he realizes what he is feeling

Will the relationship that could happen be a happy one?
Will the feelings he have ever subside?
All these are questions he wants to answer
Boy sits and writes a poem
Telling the girl how he feels

What he hopes may happen
The feelings he has
And what he believes to be true
He contemplates on how he should give it to her

He wonders which will be the best way
Will he just drop it on her desk?
Give it to her friend?
So many ways and so many possibilities
He finally figures a way to give it to her

Finally, adding the final touches
Telling her that he is just in tune with his emotions
Telling her that he likes her beauty, her personality, just the way she is
He looks at it and knows it is finally complete

As he gets up and asks his friend will she read it
She answers yes and reads it
And she asks how you will give it to her
And he says I think I just did
He smiles, laughs, and walks away
He wonders if she thinks he is being honest

And he walks away into the sun set
Looking back at her
He shouts, "So you happy?"
She looks and does not say anything
He chuckles and asks
"Will you go out with me Marissa?
Cause I think we could have something special."
