Let Me Love You.

Let Me Love You.

Eyes as bright as the northern star,
lead me home when I'm off too far.
With gifts abundant and treasured souls,
that reach to me from the darkest hole.
Pour out your heart, my darling love.
Scream to me words meant for up above.
I'll send the prayer, to make it easier on you.
Just promise me, you'll let me love you.

Find your way into my arms,
after breakfast and lucky charms.
Turn your life upside down,
to reverse that needless, useless frown.
Bury your secrets deep within mine,
so we can share everything, soon - in time;
I'll tell no lies, to make it easier on you.
Just promise me, you'll let me love you.

Follow your heart and not your mind,
take time to let life slowly rewind -
Playback what you're missing today,
and show the road you're on your way -
Back to the heart of the one you love,
to scream those words meant for up above.
I'll send the prayer, to make it easier on you.
Just promise me, you'll let me love you.

Cherish our life together once it ends,
and hold so tightly to our dearest friends.
Don't let them fool you into believing,
because I've proved my point undeceiving -
The heart I hold up to your face,
is to tell you that it's lost it's place:
[And] It'll tell no lies, to make it easier on you.
Just promise me, you'll let me love you.
