Georgia On My Mind.

by Teria   Jan 3, 2008

Georgia On My Mind.

Sweet serenity calms all chaos,
as you walk out on me.
Burning holes within my flesh,
tearing open all that's left.

Just try and try again,
to prove yourself . . .
completely wrong -
It's been way too long;

Since you last said I love you,
and I answered the truth.
With muttered words about the sky,
lining every single lie.

Charms can't get you anywhere,
not through this one , darling.
They're just holding you back from me,
taking away your sweet serenity.

Yet, with Georgia on my mind,
I drool my unconsciousness.
FiddleDaddling with the misled,
and covering the unshed.
