This is an excellent poem, one of my new favorites. Descriptive enough to help me see whats going on, but no so much that its ruined with a clutter of words. This poem seems very deep, hitting the problems of now and the past while avoiding the politics and just focusing on the love and the confusion of racism. Excellent. I love and think your talented to write something like this.

I found this piece extremely deep. but at the same time beautiful too. it had such emotion in it, i could almost feel it. and i also love the title.

Roses and violets can grow together in harmony.

i really liked that line. it's amazing how just one little sentence can hold so much meaning. but this poem was lovely, even though it ended sadly, i still loved it! job well done again. 5/5.
