Where do you stand

What if you woke up tomorrow,
And I was but a dream?
Would you be steady or lose your footing
On lifes balance beam?

Would you still believe in God?
And still fear the devil?
Would it devastate you and
Send you spiraling to another spiritual level?

I would be nonexistent like the
Passing of a ghost
Would you still cling to God?
Because I dont want to be what matters most

Just wanted to get you thinkin?
About your life and its direction
What do you see when you look in the mirror
Just you, or also the Lords reflection

Take a deep look underneath the facade
Reject anything that keeps you from God
Inspect your life daily take a quick look
Are you living according to the words of the good Book

No one measures up, thats not what im saying
Just keep talking to God thru conversation of praying
Make sure you have a tight grip on what matters most
Cling to our creator for His arms are never closed
