The Wake Up Call

by Jesyka Vendetta   Jan 3, 2008

Her head down staring at her place
Her hair all in her face
She sits there in silence
Without one sentence
While they constantly fight
And ignore the sight
Of tears falling down her face once more
Because she can no longer stand it, not anymore
She can't take the shouting
Can't take the beatings
She leaves for her room without notice
Not in the slightest
She picks up a knife on her way
Still no attention do they pay
She sits in a dark corner and begins to end the pain
All the agony she shall never have to bear again
They find her in that corner
And scream in horror
As they see their daughter surrounded by her own blood
This comes, as it should
As a wake up call
After she falls
