Thank Your Lucky Stars Everything I Wish 4 Will Never Come True

by Jenni Marie   Jan 3, 2008

After everything we went through, all the pain you caused
You're fortunate I haven't made you pay dearly in blood
Every time I close my eyes, picture your disgusting smile
And I'm so overcome with rage I can barely think straight

Picturing your body lying completely still in front of me
Your eyes wide, unseeing; body as cold as you are now
Imagining satisfaction I'd feel to erase your existence
Visualizing hands around your neck, there'd be no higher pleasure

For all the suffering you caused, made me feel I was going insane
Yet all the time you were constantly professing your love for me
Every word that you uttered was just another spiteful lie
Taking delight in knowing I was falling hook line and sinker

But I'm telling you now darling, one day I'll have revenge
And you'll finally pay for everything that you did to me
Just be grateful that the one thing I wish for the most
Is the one thing that will fortunately never come true

Oh my gosh, that was a dark poem. The flow was good as was the imagery. But I just can't seem to get into dark poetry. Nothing against you.
