Angel's Night

by Crimson Isengard   Jan 4, 2008

Twilight's stars danced in the skies
The moonbeams followed suit
The milky snow, a sea of fallen stars
Joined in this merry pursuit

A girl stares out upon this scene
And wonders with a smile
How can such beauty exist
Within the maddening wild?

Within this world of glittering dream
There can be no pain
The sweet pure snow
Coats the wicked with frosty rain

So as the stars and moon and snow
Dance with glowy light
Take comfort and do not fear
There are angels out at night

Thank you both for your wonderful comments, I really appreciate your feedback. I am so glad that you liked this poem. Also, I can't thank Terminal choice enough for his helpful, well-balanced critiques. I found them very helpful and I will definitely keep your advice in mind when I write something that I will submit here.

I agree - very well written..I have to say that I really like your poem. I think that the nature section of this site has to be where one can find really wonderfully written poems. They arent old and dull like so may other love poems. Im sure mine fall into that category once in awhile. I found your work very interesting. Keep up the good words and may all your writings bring you peace.
