They write with bliss in their mind
And a strong heart in their soul
They can write about anything and everything
Because they feel they have control
A poet writes from his/her heart
Such as the things they cannot face
Like a burden or a sin
And when someone leaves without a trace
They pick up the pencil
And start writing a piece of art on paper
Some poet's write about the wonders of life
Others, can write about a raper
Many poems are filled with sorrow
While others can be bright
Some talk about future expectations
And some about night
A poet's heart is filled with every emotion
Like the ones some people feel everyday
And when most poets start on the paper
They write everything they're afraid to say
Words of hatred or words of guilt
And sometimes, tears fall from the eyes
Because that poet's emotions are flowing through
And when they're done, they'd sit back and sigh
Poet's sometimes can get lost in their mind
Deep in their soul they can find how they feel
When the pencil is put down
They know that their words are real
