Listening...

by Pantala   Jan 6, 2008

If you were listening
You'd hear my silent scream
One that comes from within.

If you were listening
You'd know just what to do
Without me, ever telling you.

It you were listening
It wouldn't matter how far or near,
You'd always hold me dear.

If you were listening
You'd see straight through my words,
No matter how filled with hate.

If you were listening
You'd see my hole within.

If you were listening
You'd understand.

If you were listening
You'd see the world above.
You're box no longer fitting like a glove

If you were listening
You'd know the difference between the two.
Anger and hurt
And then I love you!

Anger was my shield from all that hurt inside.
From all I thought I had died.
But I never said I hated you.
