Two of the greatest forces in man's
repertoire are love and like. But no
two things can be more different.
Like is a passing wind, a seed that
blows along on the wind, always
changing it's position in the sky.
Love is nothing but a granite pillar,
something that can be weathered
but is never really destroyed. It is
one of life's constants, something
that cannot be turned on and off
like a light. No, for humans to enjoy
love, it must not change like the seasons!
Like is supposed to change, for it is at the
bottom of the heart's hierarchy. It knows
little, feels little, does little but make situations
more enjoyable. That is the only reason like
is valued at all in our lives. If they are so
different, then tell me why I keep getting them
mixed up.
