Sinful Kiss

by Indian Comma Bean   Jan 6, 2008

Here you have left me,
Here in this state of thought,
Stumbling I am lost,
Lost in the lie that was our love.

Another victim is what I am,
Intoxicated by your sinful kiss,
Only now I shed this ignorance-
The kiss was simply meaningless...

I was given all the hints,
But I fell for every trick,
You played your cards so well,
I put my heart out on the table-

I'm sure you'd take it all if you were able...

Your simple eyes mesmerized,
Every time I simply gazed,
Lost in the elegance that was those eyes,
I loved the girl with a tear less disguise.

Broken and stumbling in slushy streets,
Rain beating down on my tear soaked face,
I only pondered why,
Why I'm still intoxicated by your sinful kiss...

Here you have left me,
Stumbling I am lost,
Here in this state of thought,
Falling I am lost,
Lost in the lie that was our love,
I am forever lost...
