I knew a girl, whose heart was broken,
Who watched it torn apart,
And felt a shredder tare the tears,
Then watched it taken by a steal cart.
Her life changed from that very moment,
She felt as if the air was lost,
She never knew what damage had been done,
And her life would only be at a cost.
Finally she knew it was time to move on,
With different faces and very new places,
As she waved goodbye to what could have been,
She let go of what she’s seen.
Hearts move on and life’s change but to all of you that have read this stain,
Little did you know I’m the friend in pain.
