Behemoth Within

by Armada the Gestalt   Jan 6, 2008

With eyes that burn with wrathful flame,
A monstrous beast without a name,
The pits of hell from whence it came,
By this creature, brought to shame.

Teeth of stone and claws of steel,
Demons, nightmares, thought unreal,
Created out of sin to deal,
Vicious wounds that never heal.

Stalking in the velvet night,
Unholy magic, out of sight,
Born of horror, fear and fright,
Shunning all that is of light.

It lopes, it runs, it pelts, it crawls,
It leaps, it flies, it bounds, it falls,
It roars, it screams, it cries and calls,
All within these hallowed halls.

Clawing, gnawing, boring in,
Beastial, hungry, locked within,
Always starving, fed by sin,
Evil, torn from devil kin,

All these feelings locked inside,
A beast uncaged now does reside,
Between my good and bad divide,
When it comes, no place to hide.
