It Feels Like Fall

by Katy Nicholson   Jan 6, 2008

When the leaves turn red and yellow.
And the birds chirp and call.
When the air is like your breath.
It feels like fall.

When the trees become bare.
And leaves sway to the ground.
When the water's tears turn cold.
It feels like fall.

When the soil is cool and damp.
And Halloween arrives.
When all the fruits are rype.
It feels like fall.

When you come to my home town.
Then knock on my door.
You then say "I miss you".
It feels like fall.
