Princess in Disguise

by Lyndsay Kalyta   Jan 7, 2008

You walk me to the front steps
Open the door on my side of the car
You say you see stars in my eyes
And that you've made a wish on them all

You hold my hand when we're walking
You open the door to let me in first
You wonder why I'm crying
Babe, I'm so happy that it hurts

I know I'm just an ordinary girl
But I've transformed tonight
You've magically turned into Prince Charming
And I'm your princess in disguise

I try to laugh it off
But pray that this fairy tale isn't a dream
By the way my heart is pounding
I know this can't be make believe

You take me by the hand
And whisper, "You look beautiful tonight
It looks like I'm your Prince Charming
'Cause you're a princess in my eyes"
