Best Friend

Its funny
how you call someone your best friend
they get this special title
and you really think it means something
when in reality
maybe they don't think you deserve that title of their best friend
it feels like they've got someone else
and I guess she does
her best friend makes her laugh
he best friend is always there for her
and knows just what to say
I guess she's somehow a better person
because how can I help someone
and be there for my best friend
when all I want is my life to end
and I'd cut deeper in a second
if she wasn't my best friend
cuz whats the point of living
if she doesn't even want you around
but right now it feels like she doesn't care
maybe she is sick of trying
trying to make my pain disappear
and tired of depressing poems
and the phone calls saying I want to die
all I do on the other line is cry
I'm not the best friend she needs
or even the best friend she wants
she has problems of her own
so Ill just leave you to your life
and you don't have to care anymore
