Standing in Puddles

by Gale   Jan 8, 2008

The rain gently drips
From the tree that we're under
My jacket useless now that I'm soaked
I smile as we look into each other's eyes

You look ridiculous
With your hair sticking to you face
I laugh as I get hit
And fix it

We sit arm in arm
Under this partial shelter
Watching people run for cover
From the down pour

I stand up
Pull you with me
And we kiss
While standing in puddles
