Not All Friends Last Forever

by Little Lisa   Jan 8, 2008

I used to stop by just to see you smile
We would flirt, joke, and talk for a while
For some reason at the time it just felt right
Just having a someone who understood was a delight
But when flirting behavior seemed to grown into something more
I got scared for my heart because I've had this feeling before
You'll make me feel special like I'm the only one that's yours
And give me a wink as I walk through the door
Then when my confidence hits its best
We'll start to hang out less and less
I'll start to wonder what i did wrong
Especially since our friendship started out strong
Finally I'll have to learn to move on
And the friendship we built will be gone.
