Reach Beyond the Lies

I hold you as your tears fall
and weep with your broken heart
rock you in my loving arms
while inside you fall apart

as i pray with my knees on the floor

When my hands were pierced and bloody
I saw your very face
I stayed there and endured it
so you could join me in this place

I never said it would be easy
but that i'd be there every step
carrying you when you cant walk
and restoring your empty breath

My heart shares in your brokeness
so trust that this God hears
for he created you to want me
and in him there is no fear
