Desire

I feel empty and dark like the bottom of a well.
My blood is a current of hate formed by all the ways Ive failed.

I feel tainted when I look in to my past.
Foolishly I took in to temptation and was left to drown in my regret.

Making the wrong choice never hurt so bad.
Left with only but the longing for what I can never have.

Filled with a desire to have what seems will never be mine.
I feel over come by a wanting, a need to reshape my life.

So I pray as I go towards the future.
I pray for change for that which I desire.
