Through Silence We Talk

Through silence we talk, though we are not yet heard. The masses walk by as if we're nothing but wind. We are pushed aside; called out of our names, we are judged by the fallen themselves, as if the dead lies not within their own hidden spaces. We can see right through the murder machine, right through a corrupt population that smiles through the lies they feed us. They blacken our eyes as they feed us candy. They shorten our breaths as they pour fragrant pedals upon our heads. They take us under their stricken wings as they destroy and kill our ambitions. Through silence we talk, and still we are not heard. But they feel our presence, and they grow fearful though they are not yet convinced of our strength. They continue to feed us death upon silver spoons as they commit genocide. Little do they know, we grow smart by the hour, for we are true and we will not back down even when the day disintegrates beneath our hands. Their faces grow pale and they begin to shake in our wake. We are wise, we are strong! We are the quiet yet bold spirits that will finally put your cruelty to rest. Through silence we talk, and you will hear our voices, see our demands! and you'll never hurt us again....
