It Isn't, It Wasn't, It Aint Never Gonna Be

All those times you were claiming love for me
Yet each chance you got you were in her bed
Guess we were both your puppets on a string
Falling for all those lines you so easily fed
(This isn't what love feels like...It isn't)

idiotically placed all of my trust in you
Unaware you were toying with my heart
Thought I'd always be safe in your embrace
Yet you purposely ripped my world apart
(It wasn't supposed to be like this...It wasn't)

Once upon a time, you made me euphoric
Only now you're just causing endless misery
Thought that you were someone I could believe in
But you're just a heartbreaker, why didn't I see?
(Can't let you go, even though it ain't ever gonna be)

    Very interesting poem, I like it, it has very captivating atmosphere and the way you expressed emotions is excellent. I love the rhythm of this piece, it is totally remarkable. You showed your great talent in this poem and few lines are absolutely amazing.

    Wonderful poem coming straight from the heart.. I think that every girl that reads this will be thinking about that one guy that did this to her.. and how hard it was to let go.

    Very powerful from the beginning to the end, filled with excellently expressed emotions. I could feel every line while I was reading this. Truly intense piece, with flawless flow. The lines in the brackets are very effective.
    Feelings run wildly through the whole poem.
    The first stanza is my favorite one.

    Wow.. such a deep poem. I could feel all of the emotions flowing inside of it. It was an excellent piece and I enjoyed reading every single line. I can definitely relate. I wish guys could see that playing games with a girls heart is no laughing matter. Great job. 5/5 <3 <3 <3
