I don't need you to be happy
I'm happy on my own
I don't need you to make me smile
I still smile when I'm alone
I don't need you to feel secure
I'm stronger than before
I don't need your entertainment
Through the hard times I endured
I don't need you to feel alive
I'm alive with my own passion
I don't need you to fall in love
When true love is hard to imagine
So when you're feeling sad
And there's no where for you to go
Just know that when I needed you
I was there alone
