It took me so long.
to figure out what you did.
i should have stopped you.
i should have hid.

i didn't know any better.
i was so young, just a kid.
i wonder if you think about it.

how mad i actually am, you'd finally see.

i would just ask one simple question.

the one person i just can't erase.

i see you every night.
as i sit in my bed.
wanting to get away from the nightmares.
that are forever stuck in my head.

it has affected my life.

i didn't know what actually happened.
but now it's so clear to me.
