Bleeding Black

by Rebecca   Jan 10, 2008

My soul bleeds black
Everything that I lack.

Soul filled with vile deeds
Just let it be, let the black bleed.

Fear and pain are reflected inside
Everything crashes together in the tide.

Bleeding black is all I did today
Everything goes, but the black stays.

My heart bleeds black
It is a cold, hard fact.

All the hate and pain
Is concealed with a stain.

Everything it once contained
Is now bottled inside, restrained.

A black heart filled with wrath
It walks alone in a forlorn path.

My mind bleeds black
Anger is all in a stack.

With more words than it can say
Let it bleed black, let it decay.

Uselessness and vacant thoughts
No reconsideration it was taught.

Restrain the black, restrain the need
Restrain the need to feel, the need to feed.
