Your Wings Cut Short

by Elliott Lica   Jan 10, 2008

Stranded between to worlds, one you love and one you despise,
bound to one by fate, sliping away from the one you love,
constantly contradicting your choice, wondering if perhaps you should just rejoice, and give up the life youve ben stuck to, and return home...and once again feel free from it all...
no longer confined in a shell, forced to remain in some sort of hell,
to be free again, to spread your wings and fly into the night,
fallowing the path of happiness, you sore with the moon light,
but then it all fades away at the sound of a knock, and you remember that you had given it all away,
you make a choice to a better cause, but for its price,
your wings cut short
