That Little Look

by Meg   Jan 10, 2008

I waited for years
For that single look
The one that shows me
That you care
But all I ever receive
Is a simple straight through stare

You claimed my heart I dont know why
Took my mind so I cantt get by
And all I want is that little look
Like what they say happens in a story book

But now what? The ugly sister gets the prince?
What sort of story is this?
Why do you look at her and not me?
So now shes what I have to aspire to be?

But look at the way she treated you
She treats everyone like that
How cant you see thats she's just a spoilt brat?
Is it perhaps her marvellous works of manipulation?

I hope you move on from her, I really do
Because while you do these little things with me
I know who you would rather it be
But why cant you see? Im just as good as her!
