Tribute to Squeaker

by Shyla   Jan 10, 2008

This is a tribute to my best friend. Squeaker. May she forever rest in peace in the hearts of her family.

Black fur on white fluff a memory of a faded ghost. The best friend i could ever have. Sit with me, on my warm lap as i stroke your cares away. You let me talk to you, share my pains and my happiness. You look into my eyes and see the person i will be, give me hope for a new day, happiness and love. No one will ever understand me the way you did. i lay my head down on your curled body and sleep. The sweetest dream i remember having, a family was with me. Mother and father, cousins, grandparents. I had a love and a child. i could see the life i wanted and it was in reach because you would always be there to lift me. from my birth to my 16th year of life you where there, listening and loving through all of life's paths. On this month i turn 17, and it brakes my heart to know you wont be here to see it. goodbye is the single hardest word you can ever say, but i will never say it to you, for i know, when i die you above anyone else will be there to carry me home.

"I did not leave you behind, i simply gave you life"
