Being a Cowboy

by Ms Stacy   Jan 11, 2008

Being a cowboy is a life full of pride and freedom.
Your horse is your best friend
your gun is an extra limb
A hand shake is a promise that will not be broken
and respect is something earn and given
Sir and Mame' are not used on only the aged
And every bull and bronc you ride brings you one step close to god

To ride the land with out fences and fear is the reason for living.
And living free will be the only way to be.
No bosses, no laws, and no church on Sundays.
A cowboy shows his faith in god by working the land and being one with what the lord has given him.

A cowboy's needs no family but can be the best husband and father.
But only a cowgirl can handle him.
She is an angel in a wild land.
She is all cowboy and she stands by her man.
She's rare and as if a Tiger Lily in a Rose Garden, graceful, beautiful and stands out from all others.

The life of a cowboy is hard, but they do not complain, it is for the weaker, and as said best by John Wayne "burning daylight" that we need.
