Forever Isn't Long Enough

by My Obsεssion   May 14, 2004

Forever isn't long enough,
Of that I think is true;
To see the sights I want to see,
To do all that I want to do.

Forever isn't long enough,
This I've never felt;
To just live life day-by-day,
To figure out this hand that I've been dealt.

Forever isn't long enough,
This I can definetly see;
Not long enough to tell you all
Of what you mean to me.

Forever isn't long enough,
Of that I am quite sure;
To rise to every challenge
And take all that I can endure.

Forever isn't long enough,
Of this I am assured;
To see the world from another's point of view,
One that isn't quite so blurred.

Forever isn't long enough,
That is not a lie;
To smile at every joy that I feel
And shed a tear at every sadness that makes me cry.

Forever isn't long enough,
That I cannot hide;
To follow my heart and be guided
By what I feel inside.

Forever isn't long enough,
Of this I have no doubt;
To enjoy every single day
With the people I can't live without.

Forever isn't long enough,
This I finally see;
To meet and learn from all sorts of people,
People that are different from me.

Forever isn't long enough,
That for sure is true;
Forever isn't long enough
Since the day that I met you.
