Time

by Thomas Key   May 14, 2004

Seconds, Minutes, Hours, Days, Weeks, Months, Years.

From summer, The end seemed so far away.

From Christmas, it seemed half way here.

From my birthday, I noticed it creeping up.

From today, its too close.

Why Did I let it go by so fast?
I should have met you earlier, So we could have had more time. No we don't have much time left.

Seconds- My heart beats harder every second I think about leaving you.

Minutes- I look at the clock, and I see the big hand, moving around, and around.

Hours- There is only 24 in a day, too few to do much with you.

Days- Twenty days until school is out, Twenty days until I can leave. Will I?

Weeks- Almost three weeks until I can get on a plane and fly away, I've go to chose.

Months- Oh god, no more, I've let them all slip by.

Years, No more, none left.

Time: Seconds, Minutes, Hours, Days, Weeks, Months, Years.

I wish I had more Time with you, More seconds, more minutes, More Hours, More weeks, More months, More years.

Time is short, and it went by too fast. But, There is still Time, So let's live it up.

Time.
