Saving This Soldier

Are the people who really matter,
Who you really miss
Or are they just distractions
How do you understand
The way you should go
Down the road of life
Who could help a soldier
Through times like only his God can
The only one to turn to
Who else can help this dying soldier?

    Hiya,
    this is good poem. However, it could be elaborated on. Maybe with emotions felt such as anger and frustration and commitment to his country. Alternatively its good as it is short and sweet, leaving the rest to the readers imagination.
