All These Thoughts

by mikaella   Jan 12, 2008

All these thoughts inside my head
Spilled onto paper all to be read
All the things that will never pass through these lips
All come out of my finger tips
They drip on the paper like blood from a wound
If they don't come out I'm surely doomed
Twisting even the most precious moments
into only a sad memory
I know now my mind is my enemy
I dig my nails deep into my palms trying not to scream
Being held hostage by life's evil scheme
Your lungs feel as if you inhaled poisoned air
Breathing in, all that anguish and despair
Your hands they start to shake
And your body starts to break
The words bleed onto the page
As your feelings rattle the cage
they have to be read
because if no one knows tomorrow you'll be dead
