Winter Withered Night

by Someone   Jan 12, 2008

Shattered glass resembles that of my soul
Reflecting emotions, all of them cold
Burning eyes, tears wont cool.
Empty hearts, echoing only sadness

Spring, life full in bloom, reminds me a life I used to have
Fall, the leaves withered and torn, reminds me a life soon to be mine
Winter, cold and killing, a place I call home

Love has left me dry
Taking what was mine
The moment it left, I died inside.
Feeling empty is what I do, I try.

Withered nights of tempting fate
Cast down on me large and great
I dont fear any, not at all
I die this day ready to fall

Kiss me now give me warmth
So when I go and leave
Cry no more and please
Carry on and leave this day
