The Doors to Love

by Alexandra Jade Brewer   Jan 12, 2008

I found my true love
And need nothing more
I spotted him the minute
I walked through the door

Asking him quietly
Why he looks so sad
What causes this pain
Is it really that bad

Open up to me please
I am hear to talk
We can sit down right here
Or go for a walk

Noticing instantly
This boy really cares
Eventually ignoring
My hearts warning flares

Excepting all facts
This relationship meant to be
It just took each of us
Our own time to see

It was a simple poem, but it was very great, it was to the point, and the concept of it was great and so was the ending, 5/5
