I try to fall asleep
but my mind turns back to you.
I start to cry in such despair
Because of all that we've been through.

My mind turns back to the kisses
and the promises we had made
and the way you kept me going
through some of my weakest days.

I smile when I'm living
but when i'm alone I fall apart
because my mind keeps turnning back
to the black and blues on my heart.
